"Read the listing carefully to decide if this place is right for you. This is not a luxury stay, but it does give a unique and rustic experience. We enjoyed getting a little away from the tourist hotspots and seeing a more authentic side of Costa Rica. The animals made quite a bit of noise during the night, so be aware of that if you are a light sleeper. We stayed 2 nights with our 5 kids, and they had a lot of fun. The area itself is convenient - close to Arenal town and about 45-60 minutes from La Fortuna. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a tranquil, relaxing stay in Costa Rica. "

"We stayed in a junior suite plus with a beautiful view of the volcano. Our patio looked out on a gorgeous manicured garden. Every staff member we met was friendly, kind and helpful. Although there are no cooking facilities, there is a fairly good size fridge which came in handy. We were able to purchase simple lunch ingredients from the Maxi Pali that we took with us on hikes. Would recommend Arenal 1968 and El Mirador Silencio hikes. Also loved the Bogarin Trail Sloth tour, the night tour at Arenal oasis, the free hot springs, and zip lining and walking the hanging bridges at Sky Adventures. "
