"I decided to stay in Kobe for 2 extra nights. My original hotel was booked so I stayed at this Dormy. The room was nicer than I thought it would be. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to use the public bath as I read in the check-in info that they do not allow tattoos (which was disappointing), so be aware of that. I did get to partake in the free late night ramen and icecream snacks which is a nice touch. Most importantly, it was clean and the location is pretty great for being close to attractions. "

"This hotel is handy for chinatown and is walking distance to the harbour area and sannomiya station. Motomachi station is about a 3 minute walk away. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of dishes and the bed was comfortable. Even for a Japanese hotel, the room was very cramped for 2 people travelling with carry-on sized suitcases. As for the onsen - if you have tattoos you can only bathe between 11pm and 3am, which I honestly found quite insulting. "

"We like our stay at Brenza Hotel. The road work around the hotel makes it harder to get to the different trains. They closed the nearest crosswalk to the train station. Every else is great. Lawsons is just 1 minute away .JR station is 10 to 15 mins. Hanshin rail is the hardest to get to. I would stay there next time in Kobe."
