"The absolute FRIENDLIEST staff. Rooms were clean and so comfortable. Water is provided. Pool was clean and quiet, with plenty to keep the kids busy. Food next door and coffee across the street was delicious, drinks too. 10/10 would stay again. 5 of us in a suite, ranging from 6 to 74 years old and no complaints. "

"Spent our babymoom and birthday here. The staff was accommodating and so kind throughout our stay. We had a water issue with our casita that was no a quick fix but they moved us to another room/suite when it was available as soon as they could. Food was good but it was also easy to drive around outside with the golf cart to the town area and beach and try other options. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing stay away from home without excessive crowds and noise."

The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. "Loved the resort. Good pool areas Rooms were clean and well maintained. Security (shout out to Marco) was fantastic. He was so helpful and always met us in the parking lot to make sure we got in okay. If you are an animal lover, there are cats and dogs to keep you company. Friendly, but well behaved. Must have golf cart to get around, but the drive is exciting and you notice something new every time! Locals appreciate a drive to or from work if you have room. Very safe. "

Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. Mike the maintenance man educated us on the culture of the people of Ambergris Caye and recommended the best restaurants on the island. "
