"We had an amazing time at Ruby and La Perla. The staff was amazing from Cindy, Star, Roberto, and Mr. Bol. We felt very well taken care of and anything we needed was taken care of. We had housekeeping half way through the week and Roberto helped us arrange a boat trip with a great guide Mr, Chocolate. The house worked out great for 3 couples. The bed in the front room was a bit loud as it sounds like the frame was loose. The grounds at the resort were groomed and very well taken care of. The welcome sign for our group was a great touch as well. We will be back for sure and certainly recommend this to others. "

"We had a group of 10 (5 couples) on this vacation to celebrate a few birthdays & anniversaries. Mike was our point of contact & was really easy to communicate with! He was really helpful booking excursions & other accommodations. He picked us up from the airport in San Pedro and brought our golf carts while he took care of our luggage & guided us to the grocery store & then the house. Villa Aurora is a true paradise itself, besides the point that youre in one of the most beautiful places in the world! It is located a bit away from the main town, San Pedro... but that's what we wanted!! But it is something to note if you like being near the action as it was about a 30min golf cart ride one way. My husband & I wanted to kick off our vacation by doing something nice for our guests so we added on the option of a cooked dinner (for the first night so we didnt need to worry about anything after a day of travel). The chef came to the house and whipped up a delicious meal of local eats - ceviche, pasta salad, coconut rice, coleslaw, fish, chicken & ribs. The food was great and they had people come to help clean up after. Again, we were spoiled and completely taken care of. And last but least - The landkeeper, Jairo, is truly amazing (and his dog Quinton was a welcomed bonus)!! Genuinely nice and so helpful for literally anything & everything we needed. We felt pampered and loved everything about our stay. This trip was nothing short of amazing!! wnothing short of amazing. 10/10"

"Beautiful location. Amazing, friendly staff (shoutout to Mark!). It's a little far from town, which we liked, but you will want to rent a golf cart if you'll be here more than a few days. Food was wonderful, especially the steak au poivre. We can't wait to come back. "

"Condo very clean and outfitted well. Beds very comfy. Only things brought to the attention of Vacasa was that the shoreline needed cleanup. Trash in the dead grass. Pier was great to see sunrises! Kayaking to the Blue Bouy to tie up and swim with dozens and dozens of stingrays and nurse sharks was incredible!"

"Ok, I have to say that I don’t like writing bad reviews but feel like there are important takeaways that everyone should know before deciding if this is the right place for them. A little background we have been to many 5-star and 3-star places. We visited Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cabo, Hawaii, and Costa Rica. This was not any of them in a negative way. On our check-in, we got our orientation which included no swimming in the ocean as there was seaweed and no real place to swim(it was like that for the whole island...only Secret beach-and this was not really much of a beach. We Only went there for couple of hours and kids wanted to leave). Other items on orientation- do not flush toilets with toilet paper and to discard soiled toilet paper in the trash can because the sewage pipes can't handle it. Next, we settled in and the sheets for our bedroom and the kids bedroom were so dirty. small red drops...not sure what that was. The kids had a bunch of other stains. One of the kids beds sheets was clean with no stains. Anyway, we changed the sheets ourselves that were in the closet and told the office and they seemed as a big shock and offered us a free one-hour massage(which was very nice of them). But still, we spend a lot of money for our one week vacation and was not what we expected. The showers had very low water flow, the furniture, kitchen appliances, paint everywhere was very old and chipped needed a serious makeover. not as advertised. C No jacuzzi. the pool was mediocre."
