"Paid over $600 US for three people, decided to leave San Pedro earlier than planned due to harassment by hawkers, emailed Amelias explaining would not be checking in, told no problem, go to hotel in person before arrival date for full refund. Went two days before, was told by owners wife there was no record of my booking, no record of my payment or my name, the rooms were already re-rented, and to discuss it with her husband, who was out of country and unavailable."

"The pool is amazing! The Room was Perfect as we got the Casita 2 . It was located across from the cornhole boards and ping pong table, but very close to both pools, the bar and restaurant. It was not an ocean view but it was still magical. The floor is all white sandy beaches, and you will see many iguanas. I maybe noticed one mosquito the entire time. "The property grounds were very nice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Always felt safe walking around the property, everywhere actually. We will definitely stay here again. Rain Restaurant was absolutely delicious. Next time we will try Aqua."

"We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. Overall, I would go back in a heartbeat!!! Every meal we had was excellent We enjoyed happy hour from 4-6, taco Tuesday and the Sunday BBQ!! I think the resort was full but it did not seem that busy.
