"The house is old but kept clean and cozy. It is at a high position on the mountain with a good view of the forest and the ocean. We waked up morning with birds' song and the hummingbirds are not afraid of human at all. The meal prepared by Lilliana is very tasty. Our family enjoyed our stay of 2 nights."

"This was our first time to Costa Rica and we could not have been more blown away by this place! The house was spectacular and the surrounding rainforest where we could explore made the experience even more wonderful! We really enjoyed the dipping pool after spending the day exploring. The town of Nuevo Arenal was great! Very friendly people, great Sodas to eat at, and plentiful grocery stores. "We enjoyed a short stay at this home. Its in the perfect location for rural experience of Costa Rica, but close enough to jump over to La Fortunas tourist trap. We watched the parrots (yellow naped and toucans) play and eat every morning with the volcano backdrop. We also got to see a pizote on our ride into La Fortuna. "Comfortable, fun house with an absolutely incredible view of the forest. The porches are perfect rain or shine and the extended yard down the trail is great for observing birds and butterflies. Felt immersed in the countryside. Close enough to town that going out is relatively quick and easy. Road into the house was in good shape."
