"Gorgeous grounds and view. Comfortable beds. Great have a kitchen. The water in the shower was terrible! Suddenly it would be ice cold then suddenly blistering hot. We both hated that, but otherwise the apartment was perfect. The housekeeper was awesome!"

"Book Studio One now!!! What a cool place. The studio itself is very cool but the view is SPECTACULAR! Best view we saw in three full days in the area. El Castillo is a small town away from the bustle of La Fortuna with everything you need within walking distance. Kelly and Alejandra are great people and their La Ventanita Cafe is awesome. Best burger and beer I’ve had in CR. Stay here without regrets!!"

"Our stay at Chris's house was very relaxing and the room was spotless and well decorated. There was cool documentation on fauna and flora and ample space to park and walk on the property. Note that the pool is a few minutes away at the clubhouse. Tronadora is about 10 minutes away by car if you need groceries or wish to eat at the local Soda. The nature soundtrack (birds, monkeys) was impressive."

"Spacious accommodations and friendly host. Host was responsive and very helpful. Beautiful views but in the Lake Arenal area, which is quite secluded. There is one small, delicious restaurant 400 meters away, but not walkable. LaFortuna is approximately an hour drive, must have a car if staying here. It was a very pleasant stay, but not in the location listed."

"Exceeded our expectations! We were warmly welcomed to this newly remodeled home. Within walking distance to restaurants, grocery, and shops. Michael was amazing in helping us make arrangements for activities and so flexible when our flight was cancelled to assist in a place to stay as the home we were in was rented to the next people. We highly recommend this home. We would give it more then 5 stars if we could!"
