"It was a very unique and pretty property but was adjacent to the caretakers, whose outside property was not kept picked up. The inside of the studio apartment was neat and tidy but not impeccably clean. Great views of the Arenal Volcano and the place had beautiful flowers and landscaping. You have to drive up a very long and rocky drive to get there- no problem in a SUV 4x4 though. They provided coffee and towels, some toiletries, but there were no washcloths provided. "Spacious accommodations and friendly host. Host was responsive and very helpful. Beautiful views but in the Lake Arenal area, which is quite secluded. There is one small, delicious restaurant 400 meters away, but not walkable. LaFortuna is approximately an hour drive, must have a car if staying here. It was a very pleasant stay, but not in the location listed."

"This place is a dream. You might think the pictures make it look too good to be true, but honestly the pictures don't even do it justice. "Exceeded our expectations! We were warmly welcomed to this newly remodeled home. Within walking distance to restaurants, grocery, and shops. Michael was amazing in helping us make arrangements for activities and so flexible when our flight was cancelled to assist in a place to stay as the home we were in was rented to the next people. "We have stayed ar over 20 rental properties. And this one was by far the best! The house and grounds are beautiful. Patrick is an amazing host! We ended up with a flat tire and he arranged to have it taken into town to be repaired.The daily breakfast provided were also amazing and different every day!I can’t recommend this property enough!"
