"The woman at the front desk who checked us in and helped us make a reservation in the restaurant was so gracious and helpful that she alone deserves five stars! All staff were great, and treated us with kindness and helpfulness. Upon arrival, we were greeted with ice cold lemonade, which was much appreciated after a long day in the warm weather. The service staff definitely enhanced our stay. Thanks to all!"

"Might need a car to get into town, but a great hotel. Food on site was amazing and affordable. Best pizza in Costa Rica. The hiking trails were a nice afternoon and morning adventure. Would recommend this place to anyone. Great view of the sunset (unfortunately some clouds blocked the full view during our stay). "

The staff always welcomed us with a cheerful greeting and were helpful in explaining gluten free options while dining. We felt safe walking down the road to some of the shops and enjoyed coffee at the shop down the hill. We highly recommend. "

"This hotel is simply the best in all aspects, great ambience, aesthetically designed, I simply loved the interior and exterior decoration, meticulously planned and designed, I could not resist taking photos at the bar the because the way it is designed, breakfast was best with options to chose from, front desk team helped me to chose the type of activities with some great recommendations.. they have accommodated our request for keeping luggage as well as use of washrooms when we returned even after we returned.. all in all a great place to stay at Monteverde.. Such a beautiful location, lovely room, helpful staff especially Christien our guide on the first morning - we learned so much about the flora and fauna.
