"I would suggest that communication about location include the name of the building and the section of the city, i.e., Latitud Yoses, San Pedro, San José. That would have made my getting here MUCH easier than simply Calle 35, San José. Since Call35 is only a block and a half long, locals cannot even tell you where it is. More detail would have been much more helpful."

The front desk staff were excellent and they all spoke very good English, which was helpful for us. They made good recommendations for restaurants and were just all very pleasant. "I made a reservation, and when the date came by, I contact them via text to receive check-in instructions, and they told me they did not had rooms for me. I ask for a refund, and they ghosted me. I highly suggest looking for other places"

"The neighborhood is pretty quiet, and the house is at the end of a dead-end street, so even better. The apartment is one of four in the house, and very well appointed for a few days or longer. It has everything you need to visit the city, included a washing machine. We had a rental car, which would normally park on the street, but the owner was generous and allowed us to park in the garage as no one else was using it at the time. "We loved this little spot! It was a great place to land after our flight. Very close to downtown Alajuela, which meant that we could walk out our door in the morning and find a nice cafe and good food at the Central Market. Our only challenge was that the traffic was quite loud overnight; my partner had a hard time sleeping, even with the provided earplugs. I recommend this location for sure for heavy sleepers."

"Nothing impressive about location. Condo is located in industrial area. Gas trucks coming and going. Located down steep hill which creates wind tunnel. The shower has no place for toiletries. Restaurants are just ok. No cleaning supplies. "
