"My first ever hostel experience: I had a private room with an en suite, which was surprisingly latge, comfortable, clean, and accommodating of my remote work. I would recommend the private accommodation. Hostels are often ridiculed so at least give this one a chance."

"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. "We needed a place with a good kitchen to cook for Thanksgiving, and Robert's place was perfect. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped, the views were spectacular, and the couch and TV made for great football watching. Robert was a charming host and very communicative.
