"This is a smaller resort which we liked. Pool was nice and beach was a short walk. We had a Junior King Suite, nice setup, however would have loved to have in the room a comfy chair or sofa to relax or stretch out on instead of the bed. The French restaurant is closed so that limited our choices. The Italian food was great, best risotto! The wait, pool and bar staff was very friendly. Just a note, the resort is about 2 1/2 hours away from the Liberia airport so be aware. We were able to...

"This is a very small hotel on beautiful grounds with the ocean a couple minutes walk away. The staff is incredible and everyone knows you after a few days! Peaceful and relaxing. A car would have been helpful to get around. Food was very good and inexpensive. Absolutely delightful!"

"The website was completely misleading, but after accepting what they actually had to offer it is a nice resort and we had a great time. The website said the rooms would have sofas, they did not, and it said that there are 2 restaurants, there was 1 and it was buffet only. On multiple days housekeeping left us short on towels. That aside, the food was good, the rooms were clean and the air conditioner worked well to keep our room cool and dry, the pool was clean, the staff were wonderful...

"So, I want to be careful when writing this review. I’m not going to slam this place and say it’s total junk. It’s not. It is also not for anyone fancy, or anyone looking to enjoy a place near Sámara, and treat it as a home base. We stayed one night, and that was it. Carlos is a wonderful man who seems to be the manager. Very sweet, and you can tell he maintains the grounds and pool. The exterior of the cabanas are lovely, the pool is lovely, as are the flowers and such. I saw the reviews before...

"Samara Pacific Lodge is a hidden gem for our Samara adventure! The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach for some surfing in the mornings, then head into town for delicious local eats in the afternoons. In the evenings, the pool area was a lifesaver! Nice and refreshing, with plenty of comfy loungers to catch some rays and unwind. The staff here were incredible. Kenneth and Allen were so friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond with a smile. And breakfast every morning...
