"This is a smaller resort which we liked. Pool was nice and beach was a short walk. We had a Junior King Suite, nice setup, however would have loved to have in the room a comfy chair or sofa to relax or stretch out on instead of the bed. The French restaurant is closed so that limited our choices. The Italian food was great, best risotto! The wait, pool and bar staff was very friendly. "This is a very small hotel on beautiful grounds with the ocean a couple minutes walk away. The staff is incredible and everyone knows you after a few days! Peaceful and relaxing. A car would have been helpful to get around. Food was very good and inexpensive. Absolutely delightful!"

The website said the rooms would have sofas, they did not, and it said that there are 2 restaurants, there was 1 and it was buffet only. On multiple days housekeeping left us short on towels. The outside area included in the room make it wonderful to enjoy your coffee and breakfast. Love that there is a full kitchen and fridge. "Samara Pacific Lodge is a hidden gem for our Samara adventure! The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach for some surfing in the mornings, then head into town for delicious local eats in the afternoons. In the evenings, the pool area was a lifesaver! Nice and refreshing, with plenty of comfy loungers to catch some rays and unwind. The staff here were incredible. "The property is located a 2 minute walk from the beach. Conveniently located to walk to restaurants and shops. None of the power outlets were working in our first room. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and immediately accommodated us in the room next door. This is an older hotel with very basic necessities. Overall hotel grounds need maintenance. Especially the pool area. The grass was overgrown underneath the lounge chairs. Personally, it wasn’t for us. Booked a two night stay and ended...
