"We rented this property to have our family Thanksgiving. My parents, who are in their 90’s, live in Hendersonville and everyone else travelled from Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, West Virginia and Las Vegas. "The property was wonderful! Everything was exactly the way it was listed. I was nervous keeping the reservation due to a snow storm but it was a picturesque stay. The cabin is off the grid enough to have a quiet secluded stay but close enough to grocery stores and other amenities you may need.The sauna and the hot tub was a great addition in the snowy weather. "Saluda Proper is a unique house transformed from some sort of storefront. It has a nice sized living area and a fun space on the lower level with a tv and pool table. The location is wonderful. The only downside is that it feels a little under-equipped, as if the owners don’t really use it. Sparse furnishings, bare cold floors, little on the walls. The kitchen had sufficient supplies but only two wine glasses, no corkscrew. It is in fact for sale so that probably accounts for the lack of...
