"Avoid this property at all costs! It was a nightmare, owner couldn’t be contacted for hours (tried to call him and no one picked up the phone) and only after we got a hold of him, he informed us that the place was double booked. We were travelling with 2 young kids and waited nearly 2 hours in front of this property. It was 9 pm and we had to scramble to find a place to stay. The owner offered another location which was in Shinjuku, which is on the opposite of the city. This was a terrible...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Kamei House! Communication was excellent. We were granted access to the house with a phone app to control the lock which was a handy and easy way to check in. The house was located with easy access to two train stations depending on route. There was plenty of space for our group of six and we had a great time exploring Tokyo from this convenient location!"

"Property manager/owner was amazing to communicate with. The house was so lovely to stay in and perfect for 2 x families with teenage kids. Great location as well, walking distance to everything you need. Great facilities. When I come back to Japan I would want to stay at this place again as it was fantastic. Thank you so much."

"This property was perfect for our family. The home was very clean and came with added amenities that any visitor will appreciate. The location was only a very short distance to Shinkoiwa Station, which made transport very easy. It is also located right next to the Edo River which made for a nice stroll in the evening. "Great stay! Area very safe for families, park across from stay was nice …a 711 around every corner…unit we had was great except for no dryer…but no worries just down the street 5 minute walk…a full laundry mat…restaurants, local markets all in walking distance…would stay again…recommend everyone to check it out!!"

"My 25 year old daughter and I stayed for nine days and really enjoyed the whole experience. The house was clean and well set up. The location was amazing with access to lots of restaurants, supermarkets and Ikeburo Station just minutes away. Min was a great host and responded quickly to all our questions. Highly recommend. . "Place was clean and a very traditional Japanese house. If you want authentic, this is your place. Only 1 chair and desk, so sitting on the floor all the time is a bit tough. Good location, quiet and quaint. Could use some helpful kitchen items like oil, soy sauce, s&p. Instructions throughout house was great. Great udon mom and pop shop around corner and local museum. Close to subway and quick bus to Asakusa and other areas. "

"We had a great vacation close to the skytree. Our host communicated well, and let us keep our luggage for a few hours after our stay and before our flight. The place was large and clean. I would definitely stay here again.The only downside is the street noise is loud during the night but that is just being in one of the largest cities in the world. Just keep in mind if you're a light sleeper."

Modern comfort

"One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The rooms were modern and comfortable. Service was great and Everyone was super friendly. The location is great - 5 minute walk to Shiomi station, family mart in the building, restaurant also has a bar and restaurant. There are also a few restaurants within 5-10 minute walk. I absolutely loved breakfast here. Everything was really good and there were so many options. Location is quiet, safe and clean. Disneyland is about 25 minutes away, Shinjuku & Shibuya about 45 minutes"

"We loved our stay at Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay. After 3 weeks travelling through Japn, these were the best and most comfortable beds and pillows we'd experienced. The bag holding room was amazing, as we could leave our bags, locked up and safe, until check in time. We didnt need to deal with too many staff but they were all helpful. I did have an issue with needing to change rooms, and while communication through expedia messaging was very slow (24hrs to reply to an email) staff were helpful at solving the problem. We were in the new Marlin rooms. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. There were a few noisy neighbours and we could hear banging and stomping, but in general it was quiet enough. Very conveniently located next to the train station and malls for shopping. The Disney bus was easy and convenient. My family especially loved the free toiletries room and the welcome lounge every evening with drinks and snacks. Would definitely stay here again."
