"I stayed at Selina/Socialtel San Jose for about a week until the 28th of January 2025 and my Spirit Animal for the stay was a Sloth because I did mostly nothing in the morning, then took a rest in the afternoon. One might not think this a feasible feat in a city such as San Jose. But, I accepted the challenge and made good on it. Mae, aquí pulseándola! "Ideal place to spend the night, before an early flight or arriving on a late flight. The place is relatively inexpensive and it was clean. I would stay there again. However, it is a shared bathroom, so some travelers may not like that."

"The linens were clean, however upon arrival there was no running water. There was a large crack in the room under the outside door, I had to stuff a blanket there so animals would not come in. The floors were dirty along with the showers and toilets. The social environment was poor. "

"Really good place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of the city where the locals are. Even with the hustle and bustle of the area really quite hotel. I stayed in the hostel which is good for 1 or 2 nights. Was also allowed to check in early. Museums are really close to the hotel. As well as el mercado central. "

"We checked in very late but we were met in front of hotel by attendant. He helped with bags and walked us to desk.Desk agent was very patient and friendly. Told us everything we needed to know."

"El hotel se encuentra en una ubicación muy favorable, cerca del aeropuerto y del centro de la capital, cuenta con piscina y habitaciones con vista a ellas, tiene gym full equipado y restaurante 24/7 con Dennis, así como otros restaurantes dentro del mismo lugar, las habitaciones son muy cómodas, con todo lo necesario, las camas super cómodas, no hay ruidos lo cual es importante, está en constante remodelación, muy recomendado por el precio. El único tema sería que la habitación tenía una puerta para unirse con la habitación de la par y se puede escuchar ruido durante las noches pero se entiende cuando lo que se busca es quedarse en familia y se necesita de esa manera, no sé si hay habitaciones sin estas puertas. El desayuno tipo buffet muy bueno. En general muy recomendado todo"

"The check in was great. There were two gentlemen that were so accommodating. Made sure we were on a room away from the traffic noise this time. It's next to the airport and highway so we know how it can be. Shuttle service was awesome also. "
