"We had a great room with a balcony. We stayed there the 3 nights. Breakfast, which was included, was fantastic. The hotel is very well located yet not too close to the main tourist streets which are more noisy. Would go again if back Palermo."

"The pillows in the rooms were very thin. Two pillows will make your night averagely satisfied. I looked into wardrobes for more pillows but there are none. So i am given two thin pillows to sleep."

"Ángels is an excellent HOST as she responds to all messages promptly, answers ant questions, informative, speaks several languages fluently and provides an awesome breakfast!!!! Many pastries were homemade as she is an expert baker. Her accommodations are described and photos are accurate. I personally like access to a kitchen area or space and utensils to make sandwiches to take on daily outings and that is not included here but it is also not advertised to include this. "The location of this hotel was excellent. It felt very authentically Italian. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfasts as the staff made us an unlimited supply of coffees. The breakfast room appeared to be a meeting place for locals too so it had a nice atmosphere."

"Hotel Grand Wagner is a Grande Dame. Lovely traditional hotel from an era gone by....only issue to be aware of is the noise. A lot of street traffic day and night is the only downside. Otherwise staff and amenities are above par. Also a really good location. "

But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming staff. The entire front desk team and concierge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories. One business owner in a boutique I shopped at told me she got married 30 years ago in the hotel. Amazing place"
