Room was basic but clean, bed was comfy. No room service or food service other than breakfast, no flexibility around earlier breakfast times as food is brought in. A safe place to sleep rather than a hotel. Staff very friendly.

It was in a great location. Found finding the hotel in the dark difficult, as the sign for the hotel was small.

The property is indeed unique- a very modern and nicely fitted out hotel, hidden away in a crumbling atmospheric palazzo. My bed was comfortable, my water hot, my sockets all working. It fely very safe, breakfast was nice, the staff excptional. Very close to the station, but on a main street in the old city. Only disadvantage: no lift. So for people who can't do stairs, it's ill advised. I loved the hotel and would certainly choose it again.

Front desk staff is limited. Make sure you read the special conditions before arrival. Owner/caretaker was very nice. Looks from outside can be deceiving. Very good for the price. Would recommend if you’re on a budget.

The hotel was a hidden gem right by the Four Corners (about 5min walk). Very friendly and kind staff, clean place right downtown. 5min walk to a Hop On/Hop off stop and perfect for an evening stroll via busy downtown.

You can hardly call it a hotel. I would say it’s a low level hostel. There is one attendant that does everything, reception, breakfast, cleaning, etc. you can stay by the door and ring for 15 min before someone opens the soor

Popular neighborhood. A lot of stairs. A lot of freshly butchered meat in immediate area which a vegetarian would not appreciate. Pushy desk clerk tried to get me to pay / commit several hours before I had to.

Although the hotel is located in an old department building, this is a well kept and very clean establishment, with a helpfull staff. The breakfast was sufficient and well-served. Only downside was the neighbourhood, that was somewhat on the "sleezy" side. But with a gate and frontdoor that was locked all the time, it was never a problem and we were never worried.

Great hotel, good price with good location.
Great hotel for the price. Breakfast is good, very italian with many sweets. Very close to transportation all around palermo and Sicily if you want to explore more than the city. Room on the outside can be noicy due to ballaro market but nothing too crazy.
