"Excellent friendly service when being served with food. Breakfast very good, eating at evening in the pub food and service very good, our bed not as comfortable as expected, bathroom clean and tidy with fresh towels every day. Can recommend a stay at this hotel/pub."

"The staff were very friendly and the room was beautiful but it was on the same level and overlooked the beer garden, so I think that this could be a problem in the summer. It also had an interconnecting door, which meant I could hear my noisy neighbours very clearly!"

"A lovely countryside stay. The pub is beautiful, a great mix of an old pub with modern design. Everything feels lovely and clean. Huge beds! I would say though, we stayed on a Sunday and the road out the front on the Monday morning was quite noisy (rush hour, bin men and gas refill right outside the window of our room). I doubt the rooms were full with it being a Sunday, so it would have been good if they put us out the back. If you can, request a room at the back of the building! "

"Very nice pub/hotel, nice log fire, lovely room’s, and big big old fashioned bath tub in the room, large bed, only drawback no television in the room.very limited lunch items available, the same with the evening menu, very small presented and very expensive steak meal,breakfast was tasty but very strange to have no marmalade offered or a refil of tea/coffee and the full english was very small. Staff were very nice"
