"Cleverly decorated with good supplies (apart from drinkable tap water). It was cosy and well heated, which was just as well as the shower was rubbish (freezing cold with low pressure) and the room is separate to the hotel - the door opens directly onto the carpark "

"A lovely countryside stay. The pub is beautiful, a great mix of an old pub with modern design. Everything feels lovely and clean. Huge beds! I would say though, we stayed on a Sunday and the road out the front on the Monday morning was quite noisy (rush hour, bin men and gas refill right outside the window of our room). I doubt the rooms were full with it being a Sunday, so it would have been good if they put us out the back. If you can, request a room at the back of the building! "

"Very nice pub/hotel, nice log fire, lovely room’s, and big big old fashioned bath tub in the room, large bed, only drawback no television in the room.very limited lunch items available, the same with the evening menu, very small presented and very expensive steak meal,breakfast was tasty but very strange to have no marmalade offered or a refil of tea/coffee and the full english was very small. Staff were very nice"

"Room exactly how advertised, bathroom was immaculate and overall room was great. Perfect location. Nice vintage feel but is clearly very well kept. The front door and room having electronic keypad with codes was very handy meaning no need to check in and easy access in and out. More than enough space for the two of us. Room was bright and airy. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer.
