It was chilly during our stay but we took advantage of the location and walked just a short distance to a couple local bars/restaurants, did the river walk, checked out the farmers market next door and ventured to the casino that was only a few miles away. A spring or summer stay will definitely be in our future! "

"We had a fantastic time at the cabin it is very cozy and rustic with an elegant touch. Kitchen was amazing and well stocked with everything you could ask for. Jim and Mona were wonderful hosts and very responsive. Our two dogs enjoyed meeting their pups ! The dog park was super fun! We were there 2 weeks and enjoyed every moment. "There were 8 family members that stayed here as we traveled in for my daughter's wedding. The layout of the house was perfect and very roomy that allowed us to spread out and made getting ready on the wedding day a breeze. Upon arrival, the house was clean for the most part. The front porch could use a good cleaning. The stairs to the basement are very steep and the overhand is low. The first day, someone hit their head going down the stairs. "We stayed at the mini-cabin for a weekend and had a lovely time. The add-ons were convenient- we chose the water package to go paddleboarding onsite and the firewood delivery for the firepit. The cabin was clean and inviting. The kitchenette is small but had key basics like a coffee maker, hot plates, griddle, and mini fridge.
