"When we arrived we had a lovely warm welcome by Pam. Pam showed us our room we were staying in which was on the ground floor as I have difficulty with walking. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. It is close to great restaurants and pubs and shopping. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast and great service. "The property was somewhat quirky, but in the ideal location to stay over while visiting the area for motocross. The owners were friendly and welcoming on arrival and at breakfast. One of the only things I can really pick a fault with is there was a really strong stale smoke smell in the bathroom which did hit you when opening the bathroom door, so could do with a freshen up and maybe an air freshener in there. "This is a lovely thoughtfully styled hotel. The staff are all genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Decent water pressure in the shower. Generous supply of tea/coffee in room. Variety of tasty options on the dinner menu. The Full English Breakfast is a must have. Good central location for sightseeing.
