"We had a lovely two nights at this cabin bringing in the New Year. The property was as-described and everything seemed clean. It's a cozy studio cabin with one main room and a bathroom. We loved the indoor fire place and the hot tub. The listing does note exactly what they provide at the house, and we were glad to have taken note so we made sure to bring any essentials that wouldn't be included. "Perfect stay for one night in a cabin overlooking a fast moving stream. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had what we needed. Only one small nit: the lights in the living room were so dim, it was hard to read or see. Other than that, we recommend this house for a rural getaway!"

"My husband and I (and our pup) enjoyed our stay here! While the weather did not cooperate as we hoped for a weekend of hiking, the cabin was very cozy and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and spices for cooking. I'd definitely recommend visiting when it's warmer to take advantage of the fantastic wrap around porch and firepit!"

Communication with the property was so easy and fast, I asked about a couple details including the type of coffee maker (keurig duo) and they responded within minutes. We did have issues hooking up to the TV but it wasn't a top priority so didn't impact our stay. "The view from our cabin was gorgeous. We were in close proximity to Shenandoah National Park which was the purpose of our stay. Their rules are quite strict but we knew that going in. There are no toiletries provided which they also mention in the welcome letter but it would be a nice touch to include a bar of soap at least."

"We had a great time getting away and having a secluded, private and peaceful place to stay. We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub. Accessing the property was easy peasy and the property manager was super quick to respond to any questions. Very relaxing, exactly what we needed! "I've gotten used to bracing myself for the listing of vacation rentals falling short to what they are like in real person. But this place was fantastic. Clean, everything was nice, the pictures did not do it justice, gorgeous views, everything in working order, great communication from the host. "Our stay at the cabin was everything we hoped for. No cell service? Check. No WiFi? Check. Beautiful scenery? Check. Secluded? Check. The cabin is in wonderful, rustic condition. The deck and stairs looked fairly new and felt very stable. It was stocked with everything we needed, including cookware, towels, bedding, movies, and games.
