The space was absolute perfection for us - we enjoyed the quiet outdoors while reading on the back porch, loved using the fireplaces, and had everything we needed at the cabin to cook dinner in and feel so comfortable in the house. "I've gotten used to bracing myself for the listing of vacation rentals falling short to what they are like in real person. But this place was fantastic. Clean, everything was nice, the pictures did not do it justice, gorgeous views, everything in working order, great communication from the host. "We booked the cabin as a quick hiking trip get away with friends. Being newly renovated it smelled a bit like paint or paint thinner but it was not overwhelming. The property itself is beautiful. We especially loved the screened in front porch for sitting and the hot tub shack with a tv was AWESOME. "There were balloons and candy for our anniversary which was so thoughtful. The cabin was lovely, very clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed grilling out on back deck and sitting around fire pit. The cabin was back off the beaten path and was so quiet and rwlqcing. We would definitely go back and stay again! "

"This property was an amazing cabin getaway. The views from the windows were simply stunning. It was quiet and secluded. The house has everything needed. Hiking and the national park were a reasonable drive. The town of Elkton was great with small shops and restaurants as well as anything needed like groceries. James was an excellent host.
