"We have stayed here a few times and always been welcomed by friendly staff, enjoyed a meal in the bar and been up too early to try breakfast. Food is the usual pub menu, beer excellently kept. Staying on our way back too so might get to try breakfast next week! Only slight thing we found the emergency light in the bedroom a bit brighter than we would like when trying to get to sleep but there isn't much to be done about that as it would be useful if needed in an emergency "

"Nice style and furnishings, all amenities I needed. Felt slightly wary arriving at night as access was an exterior side entrance with no working lighting. However I felt safe in the room and any noise from the pub downstairs was minimal. The room had signs of damp on some walls and the shower had mould patches. There were good quality tea and coffee options as well as toiletries. The bed was really comfy. Overall a comfy and convenient stay. "

"Great stay, very comfortable although not a fan of the sloped roof in the India Mews. The soundproofing is a little poor, as could hear neighbours marching around. Otherwise, staff were excellent and attentive, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options and the grounds are spectacular. "A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "

"The apartment is extremely well located and is very comfortable and clean. The contactless check-in also works well. However, the apartment is situated above a Tesco store, so we were woken up on both mornings by lorries being emptied and stock taken into the store. There was also an issue at check-out, which, at 10:30, is already fairly early. However, the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 10:05 and demanded that we leave the room as they needed to clean. We told them we had 25 minutes...
