"The only slight downsides were a bit of flight path and traffic noise, and occasional creaky floorboards above. It was a comfortable, spacious room, and although the supplies of tea/coffee/etc. and toiletries were simple, we certainly had everything we needed for our stay. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. The location is excellent: a short walk from Richmond station in one direction and from Richmond centre in the other, offering a huge choice of restaurants and pubs, plus...

"Hotel was nice, staff made it excellent! Everyone so friendly and courteous. The area is really a fantastic little village area and it was so pleasant to walk around, even at night by myself. Felt completely safe. Also super close to Kew Gardens so makes it convenient. Food was delicious, didn't try any drinks."

"Alexander Pope hotel was truly a gem, the room was gorgeous and welcoming, with a view of the Thames and a lot of space. I love how old the building is, everything is solid wood and it makes you appreciate the history of the area, most notably nearby is Alexander Pope’s Grotto. I would love to stay here again!"
