"Fantastic resort for winter beauty. It was very quiet and felt remote. There were no issues, but would have liked to talk to the office more about the resort, but due to the time of year and occupancy, the office hours were limited."

"The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

"Parking was a bit of an issue due to 2 large pick up trucks with extended trailers parked side by side. Room nice & warm in spite of frigid temperatures. Staff very nice!"

"Check in and staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Towels has some minor stains but we're fine. The room temperature controls were awful. Heat set to 61 and it was way to hot but cool set to 80 was way too cold. The hotel was a little maze like but that made it fun and interesting. The pool area was very open, a little dark but fine for the kids to play. Overall a great hotel for a hockey tournament and would recommend. "

"Overall a nice place to stay. Only issue was the shower did not get hot enough two of the three nights I was there. The receptionist said there was too many people showering at once and the water coming into the building was too cold to warm up. If you have a certain amount of rooms, the water system should probably be designed to heat all of the rooms if they all ran water."
