"Covelo-Original is exactly what a small guesthouse should be. Our stay was perfect. The Covelo is in the heart of old town and steps away from restaurants and just over the bridge is the religious centre. The room had everything needed (fridge, kettle, coffeemaker, all of which aren’t common in a POR room). "The place was many kilometers with switchbacks, away from Resende, a shack with an open green front door. We could not even scale the driveway. The tires on car kept spinning. It was a frightening neighborhood. We just took the long winding road back down and headed to Fatima. It took me a few days to recover from the traumatizing experience.
