"The place was many kilometers with switchbacks, away from Resende, a shack with an open green front door. We could not even scale the driveway. The tires on car kept spinning. It was a frightening neighborhood. We just took the long winding road back down and headed to Fatima. It took me a few days to recover from the traumatizing experience. "This house was really unique for us for its rustic look and use of natural materials. The beds were comfortable, and there was so much space to relax including huge patio and cozy living room. It might be a bit out of the way from the main road, but it made it feel like a country escape. We had a great time."
