"This spacious and comfortable home was in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our daily stroll across the Hammersmith bridge to the tube station. The host was very helpful and prompt with his replies to my messages. His tips for getting around London and to-and-from Heathrow were excellent. "The property owners were great and very responsive to our American quirks. They were friendly and on site to help at all times. Great accommodations and super owners. Would definitely stay here anytime for the care and the location. You are just tucked away on a quiet lane and the surrounding country side was awesome."

"Stayed over at this property for a ladies retreat. It was a spacious place as described but unfortunately meant that it took forever to heat up and some rooms never got warm. Would avoid in the winter months unless you have a portable heater. The owner did bring us wood for the fire place so used that - very pretty and warm. The place could’ve been better cleaned in our opinion as there was clear evidence of prior occupants (empty alcohol bottles in drawers etc). I think this place would be...

"Absolutely fantastic little cottage that was spotless inside. Walkable to the tube with easy access into London on the Central Line. Would highly recommend!!"

"Stayed here for a weekend with our doggy, daughter had just moved close by and was visiting. Could do with a bit of updating, I wouldn’t recommend 5 people staying here as it was cramped for us and there was just 2 of us. The second bedroom pics showed 2 single beds but it was a single bed in there with an under bed. "Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us."

"Lovely place to stay while visiting family. Relaxing and tranquil while a short drive to the min part of the village nd station to to London. But also lovely to stay out. "

Front and rear gardens were weed ridden and overgrown, gate was broken, parking a nightmare. Entering the property everything appeared ok, until we had a closer look. "This was an impromptu trip to London for my wife, son and I. The staff at the Clermont were fantastic and the hotel was great. The location was convenient to get around London. We were within walking distance of Buckingham, Westminster and Parliament. If we needed to take the Underground, the Victoria, Central and District lines were right there. The hotel has an entrance from Victoria station if needed. The walk to Piccadilly and Leicester is easy, so getting around is simple. Maybe not a ton of places to eat out nearby, but the restaurant in the hotel is good and there are a few places nearby that are good to eat. We kept going back to the Gail’s Bakery on Buckingham Palace road for breakfast, but the English Rose around the corner was cute and good too. Would definitely stay here again if we’re back in London. "

"amazing hotel!! the concept, the decoration, & the vibe! the staff are very nice and helpful! The hotel is very convenient, it's a 1 min walk from the metro station and a 2 min walk from the very vibrant shopping streets. definitely having the cumberland as my go to hotel whenever im in london. ps: pillows aren't very comfy to sleep on"
