So grateful for the “wake up call” service when the Northern Lights were present as this was a bucket list experience for me. Excellent area to stay for exploring the waterfalls, exploring Vik and going on a glacier excursion. I highly recommend and thank you to Umi for a dreamy stay! "

"We have a lovely one night stay at Skalakot. It’s very charming, simple hotel in beautiful surroundings. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The spa was small but nice, gets quite cramped if there are more than 4 people in there. I think it would benefit from an outdoor hot tub. Dinner was nice, breakfast was ok. "

"Beautiful cozy cottages, modern amenities, close driving distance to waterfalls. Isolated, low light pollution great for stargazing and northern lights. The loft cottages have upper loft floor with sky window, very cool. For a couple with or without small child is enough space. Communication with access instructions was easy. People have complained about inflexible cancellation policy, but these are family-run cottages, not a big hotel, so they depend on the income and last minute cancellations have impact on the local people"

"This was an amazing hotel. It is perfect for persons going on excursion/trip. The rooms are simple but the beds are comfortable. They have a hot tub outside, which was more than welcome. The staff is very nice and accomodating."
