"The staff was friendly. We arrived late (but before midnight). I dislike self-service hotels I've never gotten my room without an issue and this was no different. My information was sent to my friend's email but they did not include the code to my door. The phone number we called was not answered. Thankfully a second phone number (located in my friend's room) was found and we were able to get the missing code. The staff was attentive and breakfast was included. "

"We stayed on our last night in Iceland. The rooms are albeit old fashioned, for a 1 night stay, it's decent. There's a restaurant and the breakfast was nice. This is very close to all the great falls around that area and you can see northern lights right above the hotel. We saw northern lights in Vik and here on the second day. It was beautiful and they also have places you can scan and go to watch the Aurora. 2 hours from the international airport. "

"The cabin was great. It was definitely a home away from home. We got to pet the horses and were able to see the northern lights on a clear day. The only con I have is that our beds were on the softer side and lumpy but it didn’t factor in my rating. My advice is definitely come before sundown because the roads are dark and road is somewhat rocky. Also, get your snacks and/or food before you come cause it a decent drive to find something and most of the stores close early"
