"The spot was perfect for us! It was a great size and so close to main street - which is where we spent most of our time. We were able to go back and forth for any reason with ease, and even beat crowds in the mornings. The place was very clean and very private! We especially loved the telescope! "We had such a great time at Eric's property! Everything was exactly as described, clean, and well appointed. The property manager, Dennis, lives on site and was available to help with anything and everything without being intrusive. The kitchen had all of the basics and then some to cook full meals, from a convection oven to a rice cooker. The views were spectacular, it was quiet, and convenient to everything in town. The pool was a fantastic bonus. We now have our go to place to stay in...

"This was my 2nd stay at the Storybook Cottage. It's far enough from Julian to be quiet, but close enough for quick trips to town. The cottage is well supplied with amenities, even fresh eggs and muffins. The cottage is cute and comfortable, I highly recommend it."

"Cozy place to stay for the weekend. Accessing the propertty was a little difficult, i recommend packing very light as the stairs can be difficult to manage with a full size suitcase. The pool was beautiful to swim in and the cat roaming the grounds was super friendly. I could not figure out the honor bar venmo, i wish there was a QR code for the honor bar."

"We stayed a few times at the property, both in 1Bdrm and 2Bdrm units. SD Country Estates is an older time-share property, which means that units are quite generous in size, very nice but show their age (mostly on the appliance and fixtures side). However, there are extremely clean, well-equipped and maintained, and very welcoming. Amenities are fine, the pool small but pleasant and the place quiet and relaxing. It is not easy to find (not a good idea to come after dark), quite far from the town...
