"The ranch is a little hard to find on Google Maps as we were driving over in the dark after viewing wildflowers in Anza Borrego- it's actually opposite the Warner Springs Ranch gas station. We were saved by an alert and super helpful security guard who spotted us! The cottage is small and cozy, with two heaters in case it gets cold. Basic amenities were provided. It was a good place for us to get a rest and sleep before heading back up to the Bay Area the next day."

"We drove from San Diego and had exactly what we were looking for: a relaxing Memorial Day weekend away from crowds. The home was lovely, quiet and spacious so that our teen boys were able to find their own nooks. The craft kits were fun and made for nice souvenirs of our trip. We saw birds every day while sitting at the outside deck. The location was convenient, just a short drive from historic downtown Julian (thanks for the restaurant recommendations).
