"The hotel oozes character with timbered walls, wonderfully wonky floors and beautiful vaulted ceiling bedrooms. The large bed was very comfy. It was quiet and a pleasant 10-15 min walk mostly through the Cathedral grounds to the city centre. I’d definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and it’s friendly staff. "

"I was at this hotel for Business for 5 nights, but it was also a great place for after work leisure. The training room and surrounding refreshment areas were more than adequate and the environment is relaxing. Roger who was on the reception for the training rooms was very efficient and accommodating. Thank you The main reception and bar staff are very smart and professional. The leisure side was also very good for the gym, sauna , steam room and pool.. "
