"This small quirky little Bach was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Very close to town, only a 5 minute drive from the little shops and from the harbour where you can get on numerous tours. Only complaint was that we had no communication with the owner. Checkin instructions on the app worked well. Didn’t know what to do with garbage or dirty towels. So we just left them. Regardless would recommend this as a place to stay during your visit to Paihia. "

"The house is in a quiet residential area outside the city center with a lovely view. The italian contingent of our group found the host to be very helpful and very responsive. We appreciated her assistance in recovering a lost item; she definitely went above and beyond the expectations of our Italian friends who will remain very grateful."

"The house is very comfortable with 2 good sized bedrooms and big living/dining areas. There are some beautiful pieces of art and an excellent book collection. The view is amazing and the property has some hidden gems. We were here for 3 nights and loved every minute. Host is great! "

"This is a great spot. It's about 5 minutes from the Opua Ferry and less than 10 from Russell. It's super remote and quiet. Taking our suburban kids (9 and 4) was fantastic. There is a little boat shed at the bottom of the hill and access to a beach which my older kid loved exploring. The beach itself is quite rocky and full of oyster shells so not recommended for swimming but Long Beach near Russell is amazing and only a short drive away.
