"After a long day of driving, we pulled into the Lodge. The young man at reception was friendly and accommodating. We entered our unit and we were so happy to see a spacious, modern apartment unit with a beautiful balcony where we enjoyed a late night supper. Our only regret was that we had to leave the next day."

"This small quirky little Bach was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Very close to town, only a 5 minute drive from the little shops and from the harbour where you can get on numerous tours. Only complaint was that we had no communication with the owner. Checkin instructions on the app worked well. Didn’t know what to do with garbage or dirty towels. So we just left them. Regardless would recommend this as a place to stay during your visit to Paihia. "

"This is a superb modern studio holiday apartment which is situated directly on the harbour side. It is tastefully furnished to a high standard and has all of the essential amenities for a relaxing break. Theo and Raewyn are great hosts, and you are made to feel very welcome right from the start. I stayed as a solo independent traveller, but this would equally suit a couple. I would recommend Ripples and Tides to any person travelling to this area of New Zealand. "
