"WOW!! What an excellent spot tucked away!!! The town is fantastic and I like that this hotel isn’t on the main road so it’s quiet and peaceful. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful! The grounds are just stunning with everything meticulously maintained! The bungalows were truly special with their own private plunge pools. 5/5! "

"Umami was such a wonderful boutique hotel. The staff was so awesome and giving. The hotel itself was perfect for my solo trip. The middle of town and a short walk to the beach or several restaurants and markets. I especially liked the fact that you could interact with locals and not only tourists and it was only a tuk tuk ride away to really nice beaches further down the coast. So looking ready for my return to CR and will def be staying here!"

The amenities are top-notch, and the staff from the manager to the receptionist to housekeeping—were all incredibly kind, supportive, and welcoming. The entire property was spotless and well-maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hotel is very safe and secure, with convenient access to the beach. One of the highlights was definitely the jacuzzi pool, especially at night with the neon lights it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.
