"Our stay at the property went well. We really used the property for sleeping purposes as well as breakfast prepping and did not enjoy the pool. The surrounding area is beautiful. Beaches and all were just heaven. A wonderful variation to the Guanacaste experience. only issue I would caution folks wanting to book is to have sleep masks as light does shine through 24/7, because at night there are motion sensor lighting. "The staff was super responsive and hotel gave an excellent jungle experience. I will say the location was deceptive. The map looks like its in Cahuita when its actually a 45 minute drive away in Punta Uva. Also you must pay for your stay in cash or they will charge an exorbitant credit card fee."

"It's in the middle of nowhere, so is everything else in Cahuita. Bring a flashlight if you are walking to restaurants. The place is really pretty and interesting architecturally speaking. Bikes are a bit expensive compared to Puerto Vallarta."
