"I spent 10 days with my wife in this hotel, very large, carved into the rock, beautiful. A hundred meters away from the beautiful public and equipped beach, (the hotel provides towels) easily reachable on foot. Large room with balcony and sea view, modern furnishings. Two swimming pools and in addition a wellness room with a hydromassage tub, sauna and very well-equipped gym available free of charge. Excellent breakfast, good dinner with truly kind and welcoming staff."

"Great location and views. Great pools and activities for the kids. Rooms were nicely renovated and well equipped. Good to have so many drinks stations around the pool. Hotel was very busy during the week we went which meant finding a free table for dinner was stressful. But the food was good, with a good range for us and the kids. "

"The property is very clean and the pool area is lovely. The only thing lacking is some evening entertainment or even music in a bar as the pool bar closes quite early. There is nothing to keep guests at the property but there is nice restaurants and an Irish bar just down the steps. "

"Wow Wow Wow!!! I saw Grand Horizon advertised last year and it had been on my radar for a short break without the kids. I booked this trip at Christmas and we have been looking forward to it since then. I genuinely cannot find fault with Grand Horizon, and cannot understand a lot of the negative comments in the reviews. "Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Sol Amadores in the jetted tub room 102. Brilliant big balcony and excellent facilities. It’s become our second home. Particular thanks to Isabel who goes over and above to look after us. Will be back in 6 months. "
