"I spent 10 days with my wife in this hotel, very large, carved into the rock, beautiful. A hundred meters away from the beautiful public and equipped beach, (the hotel provides towels) easily reachable on foot. Large room with balcony and sea view, modern furnishings. Two swimming pools and in addition a wellness room with a hydromassage tub, sauna and very well-equipped gym available free of charge. Excellent breakfast, good dinner with truly kind and welcoming staff."

"Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Sol Amadores in the jetted tub room 102. Brilliant big balcony and excellent facilities. It’s become our second home. Particular thanks to Isabel who goes over and above to look after us. Will be back in 6 months. "

"Lovely hotel, everywhere spotlessly clean. Rooms so well equipped, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, sponges cloths provided. Stayed in superior room that had full sea view/harbour view. Lovely big balcony with table chairs and sun loungers with total privacy. Free safe, air con, shuttle bus to Amadores beach. "

"I stayed in a two storey self catering villa by a long deck with a jacuzzi. I could occasionally hear some noise from the harbour but generally I was pleased at how quiet and peaceful the location and the environment were. The view over the harbour and the sea was beautiful. I especially recommend floating in the jacuzzi at about 6pm when the outdoor temperature is more comfortable and the deck is empty, it's blissful. The hotel staff were always friendly and polite, and the rooms were kept very clean and had everything I needed. There's a small supermarket nearby (via some killer steps - easy to go down but take it slowly on the way up!), and a slightly bigger one about a 10 minute walk away by the beach. The beach has the better array of restaurants, including at least one that actually did paella for one person (never seen that before). There's a shopping precinct maybe 20 mins walk away too that has even more. You can also get an easy ferry to some of the nearby pretty towns like Puerto de Mogan. Recommended."

"From the moment I entered, I wish I had booked my whole holiday here. I wasn’t happy with my current accommodation so I booked my day here. I paid all inclusive for 5 hours before my flight. I enjoyed the room, pool bar and food. It was 100 worth it and would have been a similar price to a day at a beach club. I’m going to book this hotel for me and my family in a few weeks "

"Hotel is a bit dated in places also only 1 lift working while we stayed at the hotel also stairs to climb with luggage to get to rooms as no walkways along each floor"

"Hotel was excellent! Rooms were basic but clean, MASSIVE balcony with table and chairs and 2 sun loungers. Air con in bedroom, ceiling fan in living area. Great having access to 3 large pools. Would definitely return to this hotel."

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Montebello. Check-in was easy despite having to wait as we arrived a few hours early. The room was on 9th floor and was perfect. The balcony had 2 sunbeds along with dining table and parasol. Shower was lovely although we did think it was only cold water until we realised you need to turn on the boiler in the kitchen area :-) heads up there to any future guests. The location is great too - easy to walk down either steps or slopes to main centre /marina. Taxi back is €4.25 max. Good little grocery shop onsite although a little pricey- there’s a super Dino in Morgan mall which is best place to stock up. Beds- clean and comfortable Room was very hot so we asked for a fan from reception which helped. Pool was clean and sunbeds were plentiful even in half term. Little snack bar was nice for salads chips etc."
