"Wonderful place to stay! Left feeling like we were leaving life-long friends' home. The south end of the island is very beautiful and feels so authentic. Shelly and Susan are wonderful hostesses and the breakfast was such a treat! The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The outside is beautiful and very welcoming and unique. This property is such an asset to Isla Mujeres."

"This is the type of place that I am reluctant to share because I want it all to myself! Which is mostly what we had this week. Low season meant it was not crowded and there are so many little spaces to hang out that it felt private. The design is gorgeous while feeling relaxed. "We only stayed at the Mansion Giahn for one night, but Joseph and his staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The place itself is very unique in the architecture and I thought it was very pretty. It is located somewhat off the beaten path, so there aren't many food options around. However, Eduardo took my husband to a local taco stand to get us dinner, which was very gracious of him. It's not the Ritz, but it's not meant to be either. Still had a good stay!"

"One of my favorite place since it's far enough away from the hotel zone that you get the local atmosphere, but close enough to the hotel zone (about $20-30 USD via Uber during the day) to go if you wanted to. "I came to Cancun to have dental work done at Cancun dental specialists. I was nervous traveling alone but I am so grateful I found this sweet place! The house is situated in a neighborhood that has gated security 24 hours a day. The house is right across the street from a very beautiful beach and only a few blocks away from the ferry port. "The location is the best! You get the best beachfront and you get the best of the tourist town. Friendly and helpful staff. I would not get the all inclusive next time, since there are so many food and drink options near-by. But the service was fine, and the included options are fine. Having only one beer choice was possibly the worst aspect of the all inclusive. The rest.. not spectacular, but acceptable and practical. The common areas feel small for the amount of people they receive, but again... not a deal-breaker. I had a pleasant stay. I got a free balinese bed for booking with Expedia and some delicious macaroons. That was a nice surprise. "
