"We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. "

"Carberry is an excellent choice for a stay near Edinburgh. I wanted the castle experience and this home has so much history, it exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was delicious with wonderful options, and the staff were both friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, everything we needed and larger than I expected for a standard room. Definitely staying again! "

2 Mins Walk from Edinburgh's Best Beach!

Th best of the best!!!

"Beautiful home!! It was my husband and I and three adult daughters. With four bedrooms, very well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, dining room and patio…..we couldn’t have asked for anything more!! Best bud system only 2blocks away. Download the Lothian Bus app. Their buses go everywhere you would want to go. It’s like GPS for busses, you can even buy tickets ahead of time. Close to bus stop, which is the only way to travel if you don’t drive on the left side!!! Two blocks to the beach and promenade. Definitely recommend the Beach House restaurant..best breakfast ever!!! Patrick and Roslyn responded quickly and provided helpful information and amazing hospitality. The price is well within reason and doesn’t break the bank!! Thank you for making our trip to Scotland so memorable!!! I highly recommend this property to anyone!!! Thank you. "

"The owner of this place is amazing. I had an issue with the car rental company and he offered to help which he didn't have to but was greatly appreciated. The room was immaculate. The bathroom, which is important to me was very clean as well. The city is right around the corner. There's a bus that takes you directly there. The parking is a little tricky but it wasn't anything that was too bad. I really recommend this place to anyone who travels to Edinburgh. It's close enough to the city but not in the hectic part of the city"
