"I stayed for a long weekend and they were hit with over 4 feet of lake effect snow. Staff especially Scott was amazing. He handled people as best he could given no rooms were available. I booked an extra night in case it kept snowing. Hotel had no issues giving refund but expedia did. Took me over a week fighting with expedia to finally get a refund. I will definately recoment the hotel and will stay again"

"It was fine for what we needed. A clean, bug free place to sleep and refresh. The woman who checked us in was pleasant and helpful to the surrounding area. "The property was great for our Thanksgiving get-together. The view of Lake Erie is wonderful, the house is comfortable and well-appointed (with a great kitchen), and our hosts were excellent. In fact, the owner (Ethan) really went above and beyond. We were unexpectedly snowed in by a lake-effect storm, and Ethan reached out to a neighbor who brought us pizza and wine! Just terrific people all the way around. A heartfelt thanks to all. We would definitely return to the Lake House!"
