"We needed a place to stay before heading to the St. Vincent surgery center in the morning, and the location of this hotel made it very easy to get there. Our room was clean and the staff was nice. They are currently making some renovations, so although it was a little messy in the lobby, I’m sure it will look great when finished. The staff was also helpful when we had to cancel an extra room that we had booked. This hotel isn’t fancy at all, but it worked well for us!"

Absolutely wonderful

"We stayed here for 3 nights while in Erie for a gymnastics competition. The house really is dreamy- we arrived at night, so we did not get to enjoy the amazing view until we woke up the next morning… and it did not disappoint!! Wow!! So peaceful… gorgeous views from every room (even beautiful in the rain!) and a nice bench to sit at outside while overlooking the water. Bird houses bring birds and squirrels and raccoons… which was so fun to watch from the enormous picture windows. The house is super clean and has everything you need… including a fully-stocked kitchen, updated decor, a large dining table for meals and games, black-out drapes in the bedrooms and super-comfy beds. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (with 2 showers and a towel warmer!). Downstairs full bathroom has another shower (but water-pressure is low so only suggest for kids or quick-showers). House is in a residential location but not far from area sites and activities. If we find ourselves in Erie again, we can’t wait to stay at Dreamy Lake House again. "

Overall Complete Satisfaction

"Friendly, courteous staff. The hotel was neat and clean and very well organized. Room was also very neat and clean. The only minor issue we had was the toilet paper & tissue box was not stocked. And we did not get room service on the second day we stayed. Possibly could have been because we forgot to take the do not disturb sign off the first day? However it was taken off the second day. Other than that everything was excellent! Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend this hotel."
