This Place Rocks! Waterfall and lake access

We’ve carved out a masterpiece along the bluff- allowing a rare vantage point to relax, enjoy the breathtaking views, listen to waterfall and hide away! Located in a quiet Lakeside community just min from downtown and 15 min to Presque Isle.

Bright and comfortable two-story home with open floor plan kitchen, dining and dual living rooms. Master bedroom features a luxurious king bed, desk, large walk-in closet, tv and deck! Kitchen is always well stocked for cooking with spices, cleaning supplies and variety of coffees and teas. Full bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub and bonus living room with pull-out sofa also on first floor. Luxurious bedding, towels, bath soaps and paper products are provided for our guests. First floor laundry, also.

Upstairs king bedroom has private balcony with incredible lake and waterfall view! Across the hall is bedroom #3 with 2 queen beds and large closet full of toys for hours of entertainment. Upstairs is also a small, full bathroom with bathtub only.

WITH CAUTION: This property sits 12-20’ above Lake Erie. While it makes for incredible views, visitors must be aware that there is no fence or railing along the rock wall or bluff. Children should not be left unattended in back yard or permitted to climb the rock wall. There is water access by carefully climbing down the natural rocks at the adjacent waterfall. There is no handrail and can be slippery. But people of all ages use the access and it makes for an awesome adventure! We recommend wearing crocs or old sneakers for wadeing in the water here. The soft sand beach is only a 15 min drive at Presque Isle State Park.

There is also a public pavilion and beach- full of beach glass at the corner of Lakeside and Chautauqua Blvd. Boat launch within a mile or 2 at Lampe Marina or Lakeside Boat Launch.

MAX GUESTS: This home is equipped to serve 6-10 guests comfortably. Please count ANY and ALL guests/visitors at the time of your reservation. Host and staff live nearby and are available should you need assistance.

Stunning view
We enjoyed our stay at This Place Rocks. The house was very nice and the view was absolutely amazing! We loved relaxing outside and spent a lot of time watching the lake and listening to the waves and the waterfall. It was only about a 15 minute drive from Presque Isle.

Beautiful property
My friends and I stayed at this property for a wine tasting weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. The area is very accessible to wineries and restaurants. The house was clean and accommodating with beautiful views and private lake access. The only drawback was that there is only one shower so it was a little tough with a group of 8 but everything else was awesome and we would stay again for sure.

Wonderful lake house
House is beautifully renovated and sparkling throughout. The property, right on Lake Erie, is large, secluded, and with the most amazing vistas of the lake and Presque Isle. Our three generations had a wonderful and memorable time.

Beautiful home & outside view, perfect family vacation spot! Our family really loved the outside deck for alfresco dining and the shale patio/fire pit for sunset. (Hosts are in process of installing a second shower), making all amenities perfect!

The view from this property is better than any camera can capture. We did check out the sites but got to enjoy three amazing sunsets. The property was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Heaven in Erie, PA
Absolutely love this property!!! Clean, bright, comfortable and the most amazing view in Erie! It's hard to leave. What a beautiful place to relax. Janelle is the most gracious host. She put a Christmas Tree up for us since we were here during the holidays. Is available anytime for anything. I will definitely return! Many great memories were made here.

Amazing home, great lake views.
1st off our family travels alot and we were blown away with this one. My grandson's 2nd birthday along with 4th of july holiday,was perfect with this setting. Host was great and they maintain the property very well. The only thing you need at this home is people and food. The setting next to the lake makes this property stand out. We love the erie area and the next time we are in town we will look for this hosts property for sure. Thank you very much for making this holiday a memorable one for our family. 1000000 stars

Great place to enjoy
Clements updated surroundings as well as wonderful outdoor experience a second to none. We did have everything we needed and more very comfortable. If you suggestions would be in addition of a few hooks in the bathroom for towels and accessories. in the fire alarms were extremely sensitive. I like cooking up an egg on the stove set off the alarms. Various fan speed controls in the bedrooms instead of one constant high. Overall 5 star

Rejuvenate yourself
It was refreshing and relaxing! I stayed myself for a quiet retreat to regroup and rejuvenate. The scenery was priceless! The house and property were very clean and inviting. My only concern for younger kids would be the ledge or drop off to the Lake. As long as there is supervision, no problems. Barriers would take away from the beautiful views. The owners have a spectacular spot for anyone to slow down and take it easy. I hope to go back someday!! Kitchen is equipped with anything you would need. Thank You for the hospitality!! Tim

Restful Cascade - A Peaceful Oasis on Lake Erie
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming VRBO property, and I must say, it was a truly restful and rejuvenating experience! The moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the immaculate condition and delightful decor of the place. The owners have done an excellent job of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The property's location on Lake Erie was simply stunning, with a unique rock cliff and miniature waterfall added to the tranquil ambiance. The sound of the waves crashing against the slate shore line was incredibly soothing, and we found ourselves relaxing and unwinding in no time. Our hosts were fantastic, providing a thoughtful welcome gift and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The attention to detail was impressive, from the comfortable furnishings to the board games and activities they provided (my son and I are still looking forward to a rematch at Connect Four!). Overall, we would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful and calming getaway. We can't wait to return and experience the serenity of Restful Cascade once again.

Perfect lake house
We were a group of 5 in Erie for my daughter’s college graduation and the house was perfect for our stay. The bedrooms are large and there are two bathrooms- one upstairs that is tub only and a large bathroom on the main level with tub and shower. But the lake views are truly the highlight! We sat outside a lot and just enjoyed the views. The neighborhood that the house is in is beautiful and we walked a bit. There is a trail that the host includes in the house book that we walked to, but didn’t explore because it had been raining and was pretty slick. The only information I would pass on that is not visible in the pictures is that there is a cemetery just to the left of the property. Some may have an issue with that, but we were fine with it. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay. Janelle was attentive to our needs and check in and out couldn’t have been easier. I just wish I would have known about this place when my daughter was a freshman!
