"We had 5 nights at Alanta Villa, and by day two we knew we hadn’t booked long enough. The villas are peaceful, well appointed, comfortable, and very private. We found the staff are incredibly helpful and very friendly… genuinely lovely people There’s a lot of wildlife knocking about in the gardens, so if you don’t want to share the place with frogs, lizards, preying mantis and monkeys, then it might not be for you, but I love all that and it really made my stay much better. "The resort is beautiful at the end of the beach so it feels like a private beach for the resort. We stayed in the junior suite with a jacuzzi and it was perfect! With an amazing sea view. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I will stay here when I come back and will recommend to any friends. "

"We had a lovely stay at this resort. The location is fab with stunning views over the beach, a fantastic pool and a very good breakfast. There are bars, restaurants, a 7-11 and an ATM within a short walk. We could have done with more storage space in the 2 bed villa."

"This is a beautiful resort on the beach. It is well laid out with the bar and restaurant at the seafront and the bungalows in 2 lines facing each other leading up towards the street. The food is excellent and we enjoyed thai and western food. It is all reasonably priced as are the drinks. The bungalows are clean with a maid service everyday. The air con was quite old so we were concerned that it wouldn't be effective but when using in conjunction with the ceiling fan it was cool enough. The bungalows have lovely balconies but you had to make sure you shut your curtains if anyone was on the one opposite. We didn't see any entertainment at the resort but if you walked along the beach there were bars with fire shows. All in all, a great resort which is good value for money. "

"All the reviews are true--this place is a gem! If you are able to stay here, do it, don't hesitate! Beautiful rooms, beach, and service. Fresh fruit served to your lounge chairs during the day and amazing food served at the restaurant on the beach all day. Kayak and paddle boards for guests to take out at any time without reservations. And a nice amount of shops and restaurants within walking distance. "
