"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation is simple but beautifully set in well kept tropical gardens around a centre pool area, the food and drinks on offer are extensive and reasonably priced and very tasty. The staff are so friendly and treat you like family, they couldn’t do anymore for you especially Sunn Sunn and Jimmy who run the bars. We can’t recommend this place enough. "

"This is a beautiful resort on the beach. It is well laid out with the bar and restaurant at the seafront and the bungalows in 2 lines facing each other leading up towards the street. The food is excellent and we enjoyed thai and western food. It is all reasonably priced as are the drinks. The bungalows are clean with a maid service everyday. The air con was quite old so we were concerned that it wouldn't be effective but when using in conjunction with the ceiling fan it was cool enough. The bungalows have lovely balconies but you had to make sure you shut your curtains if anyone was on the one opposite. We didn't see any entertainment at the resort but if you walked along the beach there were bars with fire shows. All in all, a great resort which is good value for money. "

"Moonlight Bay Resort We spent 8 nights at Moonlight Bay Resort and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is situated directly on Klong Nin Beach and has its own secluded beach. There are two pool areas and a nice restaurant and bar. We stayed in a pool view room which was a good size with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and the creek and were able to watch a great variety of wildlife from the balcony in the early evening. Breakfast was included and had a good selection of food. One tip: get a second coffee maker!! The morning coffee queue is painful! The pool and beach area are quiet and there is no morning battle for sunbeds. We snorkelled off the beach and there was a bit to see underwater but not much. The hotel is about one mile from the main Klong Nin beach area which has a plethora of beach bars, restaurants and massage parlours. We chose to walk in and back each evening but there is always a taxi or two waiting outside the hotel if needed. I only have one real criticism. We decided to attend the Wednesday Seafood Barbecue and Fire show and turned up at the scheduled time of 7pm. There was already a large queue so we ordered a drink, joined the queue and made our order. By this time, we got the very last jacket potato and all the corn was gone. (There were still a number of people behind us in the line.) We placed our order (fish and squid) and went back to our seats. It was the one and a quarter hours until our food arrived.
