"Great food and drinks in the restaurant. Breakfast served from 7.30am Mon - Sat and 8am on Sunday. Recently renovated, friendly staff, evening meal was great, try the steak pie!"

"Self check in was excellent, found my room easily instructions were easy. Only thing which was the breakfast it said scan the menu choices there was no scanner but put it in the document tray. Breakfast was good and came quickly. It was hectic but for the amount guests as low season but everything was eventually sorted out as just one person serving she did her best under the pressure! Room was well presented and clean. Bathroom was very clean and modern. For the money I paid I got absolute bargain and highly recommend it to anyone! "

"this is our 4th stay at Rothay and it remains one of our favourites in the lakes. in winter it’s great to cosy up after a long walk in the garden spa, and the rooms and ambience is really comfortable without any pretentious swagger for which some of the other hotels in the area would charge you £100 per night more. breakfast is good quality and staff are friendly and efficient "
