"Seemed a bit expensive for what was offered (no breakfast/cafe da manha) but accomodation was extremely tight on Sao Miguel Island vs. Faial Island. A bit of traffic in the st. but I still slept well."

"It’s a beautiful home overlooking Ponta Delgada. There’s a beautiful pool in back and it’s extremely walkable as you are right in the old area all section of the city. Everything is very comfortable."

"Overall the experience at Casa Ateneu was a positive one The only complaint I have is the lack of communication with staff The code for the entrance was changed in the middle of our stay and we were not told about it until an hour after we had to reach out to the staff An "included" breakfast never arrived, and when we asked about it the message was never responded to These aside, good location, well kept and positive experience. "

"This is a delightful place in the middle of town. Perfect for walking to parks, the water, restaurants, the market and museums. The house is spacious and clean, and the host is accommodating. Two rooms are not en suite, so if that's important to you, make sure you double check. We got used to walking to the bathroom; it made it feel like we lived in the entire space. Very nice. Highly recommended."

"Livramento is a small town so very quiet and easy to find parking. However, you may need to rent a car if you choose to stay here. Price is reasonable. Rooms size OK, beds OK, and water pressure of shower was stable. Facility was good - shared dining room and 3 x washer machines (4 but 1 was broken). A market is within walkable distance for breakfast and food/water. Cleanliness 3 stars - the rooms were clean. However, there were insects inside the apartment, and this annoyed couple of my...

"This place was amazing. We had our own bathroom and one of the best views ever. The staff was excellent, the rooms were always clean and fresh smelling. Was a little skeptical at first with no air conditioning but we never needed it. There was a ceiling fan installed during our stay as well as the balcony door opened all day and night. Never felt hot, easy to sleep. Excellent stay"

"Great location for being near - but not in - Sete Cidades. Quick drives up and down the coast to different beaches, and ~15 into the town of Sete Cidades. We had a small issue when we checked in and the manager (Lucy) was so quick to respond and take care of it. Stayed 4 nights and only wish we had more time. "

"Alex and family were all smiles, friendly and made us feel at home. Only 2 rooms available,so quiet. Close to natural pool, and small cafe. We recommend"

We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much as there were a variety of food and drink selections.The kitchen staff and servers were very helpful as well. Our rooms were kept very clean each day. "We spent five wonderful days at the Sensi Hotel and absolutely loved it. The views are amazing, the rooms cozy, and we really enjoyed the indoor pool and an excellent spa treatment. Both breakfast and dinners at Mômô were delicious. But above everything else, it’s really the team who made our stay so special. Nowhere else have we encountered such genuine warmth, friendliness, and good vibes as from the entire Sensi team. It’s a great hotel, but the staff are what truly set it apart. We’d return anytime. Thank you!"

"We chose this property for a layover between flights without knowing anything about the Azores. We were pleasantly surpised with the luxurious hotel right in the old town and close to the beach.We also had an excellent dinner in their restaurant (tune and swordfish) and the included breakfast was excellent."

"We stayed for just 4 days... we came in early.. 8am but luckily our room was empty and they let us check in which was fantastic. It was very quiet.. fantastic walking paths right out the door along the cliffs. Great views... it rained one morning so we took advantage of the spa, gym and pool.. then the sun came out and we were off! Only 20 minutes to the city by cab.. the front desk helped us out alot! Very friendly and pleasant."
