In addition, the back yard space was wonderful and private. The only negative was that it was difficult to get air to flow, insect-free, through the house. "It is very much like the photos. There are 3 floors and a circular wood staircase. Kitchen Living Room and bathroom on entry level, 2 bedrooms 1 bath on second level and living area and balcony on top level. You can walk everywhere in town, and we found parking on street with meter. The bed was comfy with quality bedding. The instructions for sight seeing were awesome. I highly recommend. We had a great visit on this stunning island. "

"The Blue House was a wonderful home away from home. From the many windows are beautiful views of the sea and coastline. The host welcomed us with a bottle of wine, local cheese and bread, and basics like eggs, butter etc… It is best to have a rental car as it is about a 20 min drive to the Ponta Delgada and the airport."

Gorgeous vistas in every direction. Having Sea Roots as a home base was wonderful. The property is ideally situated looking over the ocean.
